| Greg Holland is a native
of Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education,
Magna Cum Laude, from Georgia State University. He also earned a Master
of Music degree in Performance from Northwestern University where
he was a student of Vincent Cichowicz.
Greg Holland has been playing trumpet professionally since 1976. A member of The Atlanta Ballet Orchestra (originally the Atlanta Chamber Orchestra) since 1979, Greg has performed with The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and The Atlanta Opera. He played on the Grammy winning Verdi Requiem & Opera Choruses under Robert Shaw and the Grammy winning Berlioz Requiem under Robert Spano. Greg has an active trumpet studio and serves as adjunct faculty at area colleges. A highly sought-after free lance trumpeter, Greg has performed countless weddings, church services & concerts throughout North Georgia. |
